DCL Days of Operations
It includes days DCL is open and shipping during the holidays, plus noted are the associated fees that may be incurred on certain days for peak season fulfillment.
Demand Shipping Surcharges
Many major carriers are implementing demand surcharges, formerly known as peak surcharges, for the 2025 holiday season. These surcharges have very complex structures, so we are simplifying them to make them easier to calculate.
This year, DCL Logistics is either passing them through, as is, or absorbing some or all of the costs. There will be some differences in how surcharges are calculated based on whether customers use our SelectShip service, or not.
SelectShip surcharges: $0.50 - $3.50 per package
Carrier surcharges (non-SelectShip)
UPS $1.75 - $3.50
FedEx $0.75 - $2.50
DHL $0.62 - $1.07
USPS $0.30 - $13.00
📌 Note: In addition to peak surcharges, other surcharges still apply, including delivery area surcharges, fuel surcharges, residential surcharges, etc.
