Seller Central privacy policy that requires sellers and any Third-Party Vendors, including DCL, to delete any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) 30 days after shipment for any Amazon Seller Central sales channel.
DCL will clear out the PII data from order and shipping records that originate from our Amazon Seller Central connection.
Brief: Amazon orders received via DCL's Amazon connector will have the customer data (Name and Address) removed from our system 30 days after the order ships.
Why: Amazon's updated privacy policy requires sellers to expunge any customer data from their systems 30 days after the Amazon order is shipped.
Action: No action is necessary from our customers
Who does this impact?
Any DCL Customer who is using the DCL Amazon connector to receive Amazon orders. Typically, these are via the Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) or Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) Amazon programs.
What action do I need to take?
No action is necessary from our customers. Our system will automatically expunge your customer PII data from our system, including eFactory, 30 days after the time of shipment.
