Effective July 1, 2024, there will be new labeling requirements for shipments going to Amazon (Vendor Central, not FBA). Here are the key changes and steps to be taken:

New Labeling Requirements for Shipments to Amazon Vendor Central

Effective Date: July 1, 2024

What is Changing?

For Parcel Shipments:

  • There is no change; continue using 1 ASN label per carton.

For LTL/TL Shipments:

  • Current Process: 1 ASN label per carton.

  • New Process:

    • 1 pallet ASN (per pallet) and 1 ASN label per carton.

How to Comply with the New Amazon Vendor Central Shipping Requirements

DCL Compliance:

  • DCL will be able to comply with the new Amazon regulations.

  • If we are shipping via a pallet, we will also create an ASN label for each carton.

  • For customers shipping via Indirect EDI, the Pallet ASN and Carton ASN will be available via the API.

  • Please see the link here to our API specifications.

If you get your ASN labels from Vendor Central:

  • We will need to have both the pallet ASN labels and the carton labels.
