Cancel an inbound ASN (Advanced ship notification) for an inbound purchase order to DCL.

When an ASN needs to be deleted, or you need to change the expected arrival date in eFactory, the instructions below will assist in fulfilling the request.

If you want to change individual line items, you must contact your Account Manager.

To cancel the ASN:

  • Log into eFactory

  • Pathway: Items -> Receiving -> Status to receive

  • Filter by entering desired customer Purchase Order Number -> highlight the line(s) you wish to cancel

  • Select the Actions drop-down to cancel the order or edit the expected arrival at DCL.

  • If you want to cancel, please choose "Cancel an ASN." A pop-up notification will generate, asking to confirm the request. Select YES

  • Your ASN has now been canceled.

To change the expected date at DCL

  • If you want to change the expected arrival date, please choose "Edit 'Expected at DCL' " A pop-up notification will generate that will enable you to enter the new date. Enter in the new date and click on "save."

  • Your inbound ASN has been update with a new date
