All DCL customers can have access to our proprietary order and inventory management platform, eFactory. Your contract with DCL will determine your eFactory licenses. Below are the two available levels of eFactory and one level for ReturnTrack.

If you came here looking to add, remove or modify an eFactory license, please review this article.

Basic License

Basic is a free license that allows access to our Orderpoints order entry module. Using this module, you can create an order or multiple orders through an upload, obtain small parcel or LTL freight cost estimates, and more.

With a basic license, you have access to the following:

  1. OrderPoints - Allows you to place an order directly into DCL's system.

  2. Drafts - Allows you to create an order but not place it into production until ready.

  3. Address Book - This allows you to create an address book for frequently used shipping addresses.

  4. Mass upload - Allows you to enter multiple orders in one convenient spreadsheet and upload directly into DCL's system.

  5. File Transfer Protocol (FTP) batches—Allows viewing of orders successfully received or rejected if using DCL's FTP site to upload orders.

  6. Shipping cost estimator - This allows you to obtain a freight estimate for small parcels or LTL shipments.

  7. Customer docs: This allows access to FTP folders to validate which orders were sent and which orders were imported successfully to DCL.

  8. Help & FAQ - Assists with Order Entry, Drafts, Address Book, Mass Upload and Shipping cost estimator.

Standard License

Standard is a standard eFactory license that includes a monthly user fee; please review your contract for the fees. Within the standard eFactory license you have access to the following:

  1. Overview - Allows an overview snapshot of orders received, orders shipped, inventory by key items, RMA activity, and the ability to review order status. The DCL support bot is also located in the overview module to allow you to ask questions about using eFactory or DCL processes. Customization of the overview page is available by user so each person's view allows them to see just what they need.

  2. Orders - Allows you to view all things order-related such as open orders, shipped orders, freight detail, lot or serial number shipped, and freight costs.

  3. Items - Allows you to view all things inventory-related such as, item status, inventory transactions, inventory on hold, inventory as of date, lot detail, advanced shipping notice (ASN), virtual bundles, work orders, cycle counts etc.

  4. OrderPoints - Allows you to place an order directly into DCL's system without being connected via our Webservices or ecommerce integrators.

    1. Domestic orders

    2. International orders
